What is new in 2008?
Carbon footprinting is the buzzword of the moment, as shown by the success of last year's National Furniture Conference. FIRA will announce a partnership with renowned experts Best Foot Forward within the next three months which will herald a new and comprehensive tool for the industry.
The Furniture Footprinter will:
• Calculate the carbon and ecological footprints of products, processes, projects and companies • Compare the impacts of different product or project options • Identify areas where significant improvements can be made • Create easy to comprehend reports and charts • Help to raise employee awareness • Demonstrate continuous improvement
