Company health check for FIRA members
FIRA members can take advantage of a free one day diagnostic visit conducted by a ukfirst Master Engineer throughout 2008, which will help enhance competitiveness within the market place.
Specialising in the “Lean” approach, a number of members have already been given advice on making improvements in quality, cost and delivery following a visit.
The diagnostic is designed to give industry knowledge to help identify key improvement areas and deliver immediate business benefits. These areas can be personalised to include reducing lead times, workplace organisation and waste reduction. A detailed report highlighting company strengths and suggested areas for improvement is also prepared.
