Manufacturing Excellence course
ukfirst, the industry forum for the furniture industry, will hold a manufacturing excellence course on 14th-16th April in partnership with The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers.
The three day course will focus on the concepts of lean manufacturing to streamline business and increase competitiveness within the market.
To be held at Highgate House in Northamptonshire, ukfirst Master Engineer Bruce Lovell will use practical demonstrations and interactive workshops to show the core principles of lean and how it can lead to world class performance.
There will also be an opportunity to visit the manufacturing plants of both Johnson Controls, a global provider of automotive interiors, and Kembles Pianos, an award-winning manufacturer of fine pianos to see how lean manufacturing has had a beneficial effect on these hugely-successful organisations.
“This course is ideal for all those involved in operations management within the furniture industry, and is highly beneficial if you want to make significant improvements to your company’s performance,” said Bruce Lovell.
Places on this course are limited, therefore to book please call 01438 777725 or email .
