Lean insight into Morgan Motors
ukfirst, which works with furniture and timber related industries to assist in the generation of sustainable process improvements, has arranged an insight visit to the Morgan Motor Company in Worcestershire on Tuesday 2nd October 2007.
The event will include a presentation from a ukfirst Master Engineer on the benefits of lean processes and will then incorporate a tour of this independently owned sports car manufacturer. Each Morgan car takes 15 days to produce and is individual to client specifications; delegates will be able to follow the production process from start to finish, which includes many hand-crafted elements.
